  1. lizzy whitney-He used logos by enterviewing Sarah Palin as a credibility. I really liked it especially when the "Government/John" confascated the guitar. It was really cool how in his logos he would flash back from him to Sarah Palin as if he really was a news caster, and he was giving a report live from his broadcast to her broadcast. I enjoyed how he used humor to reach his audience, like the guitar and the dinosaurs. His point come across very cleary even if i apose it. That we can't let the theory of an anmial being endagered stop ourlives. Even though i disagree i thought the way he conducted the video was very insight full and well thought out. He deserves an A.

  2. John,
I truly enjoyed your posting and got a great laugh out of it. Although, the video is very humorous it points out the seriousness of the pressures of certain environmental groups brought upon the government. These groups often times are very well-funded and can influence politicians to make decisions such as those mentioned with your interview of Sarah Palin. Additionally, your comedy clip concerning the endangered screwdriver and its habitat brought to light the serious affects these groups may have on future job opportunities if they're allowed to continue down the current agenda.
I felt you did an excellent job with the production of your clip. Specifically, I enjoyed your dinosaur sound and visual effects - the dinosaurs in New York were great.

Overall, once I got finished laughing, your video clip was thought-provoking and would cause one to ponder the balance between protecting our habitat and protecting jobs.

The interview with Sarah Palin was the ethos of this commercial. The logos was what the world would be like if we tried to save the dinosaurs. The pathos was at the end of the commercial, when someone loses their guitar to the endangered screwdriver because it made the guitar its home.

I found this commercial hilarious. The extreme examples used made a serious problem funny. The commercial did make me feel that the government can go to far when it comes to endangered animals. However like Senator Palin states, the polar bear is in no danger and is a thriving species. We can not protect all the animals in the world. Soon some will become extinct and others will be discovered. We are greatly in the need for the oil and gas that Alaska holds. It makes no sense to prolong our dependence on foreign oil in order to protect an animal’s habitat.
